The Senior Director, Infrastructure and Cloud Services will be responsible to deliver a secure and reliable IT technology services to the business using a diverse set of IT assets including but not limited to cloud services, computers, networks, data centers, phones, the internet and other technology devices and equipment. While various teams in IT will need to interact with IT product vendors during life cycle of using the products, this role will provide the overall management of the relationship through product research, selection and contract negotiation process. As part of delivering the above services, this role is also responsible to set standards and refresh technologies through projects.

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Lead and direct the work of others to assure a 24/7/365 IT services to the business community with services sourced from a wide range of providers of network, computing, storage and private and public cloud services
  2. Provide direction and coaching for the establishment and monitoring of complex services/business requests (SLA implementation).
  3. Develop and maintain a technology infrastructure road map for cloud services, computers, networks, data center and all end user devices to ensure all infrastructure assets are fit for use, modern and supported by technology providers.
  4. Manage and track of all IT assets from acquisition to retirement.
  5. Ensure a efficient partnership with subsidiaries IT team regarding strategies for accomplishing global infrastructure projects (world-wide level).
  6. Partner closely with the CISO and provide input and set direction for periodic risk assessments (audits) that identify current and future security vulnerabilities, acceptable risk, and best methodology for reducing risks.
  7. Provide overall management the IT product vendor’s relationship from research to product retirement

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, MIS, Computer Science or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred
  2. Minimum of 15 years of IT experience required, focused on the operational support of IT asset in a regional and/or global environment.
  3. Have extensive knowledge in cloud providers and a wide range of hardware and software solutions
  4. Have a good understanding of functionality within key areas of a business such as IT, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, sales, marketing and customer service.
  5. Possess solid knowledge of project management, IT methodology and network security and data encryption
  6. Demonstrate leadership skills that include creating and communicating effective strategies for supporting the business, developing future leadership talent for the IT organization, making tough decisions as needed around IT process or people management, as well as budget creation and expenditures.
  7. Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
  8. Possess a solid understanding of product development life cycle and infrastructure support needs of a globally distributed systems organization
  9. Have the ability to coach others in negotiating effectively with external or internal parties
