Position Summary 
Reporting to Director of Global Logistics, the Logistics Sr. Supervisor will lead key business projects and serves as a key player to help drive a high-performance, results and customer-oriented organization. Responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation and tracking of specific short and long-term Logistics Cost and Vendor Management projects with specific deliverables. Works directly with the Logistics Leadership team, our internal and external business partners, to ensure successful execution of all Logistics process & system process re-design, logistics network optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.


  • Work with Logistics Team to drive supplier and cost management improvements.
  • Create detailed work plans, including schedule and resources, to successfully complete the prioritized Logistics projects.
  • Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion. 
  • Monitors the progress of all projects and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project, and updates Logistics leadership.
  • Develop a communication plan to update key stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project. 
  • Develop and manage a formal score carding system for all projects; formally review, evaluate, & provide feedback to Logistics leadership on a scheduled basis. 


Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.  Bachelor Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Operations Mgmt., Information Technology, or equivalent. MBA or other Master’s degree desired Preference for supply chain management, or operations management, or industrial engineering. 


Minimum requirement of 4+ years’ professional experience with 2+ years Project Management, preferably in Engineering, Business Process, or IT Integration/Implementation. 
3 years’ experience in continual improvement or structured problem solving methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, ISO, 5S, Corrective and Preventive Action, etc. with proven results is highly desired. 
Preference for experience in logistics and supply chain.  


Problem Solving: Proven analytical skills required with a solid understanding of Supply Chain principles / practices preferred. Prefer 3-5 years’ experience in project management or structured problem solving methodologies with proven results 

Communications: Excels in both verbal and written communication, strong presentation skills. Adaptive communication style based on audience. Must be comfortable with influencing up, down, and across the organization. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is required.
