SUMMARY OF ROLE

SunPower is seeking an experienced, high level Executive Assistant supporting the CEO, SunPower Technologies, based in San Jose, CA. The successful candidate will handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature, collecting and preparing information for use in meetings of executive staff and outside individuals. You will make high level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company, developing presentations and materials.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
 

  • Provide coordination with Board of Directors, executives, and other internal and external constituents
  • Coordinate meeting preparation and alignment with staff, executives, and outside counsel
  • Prepare executive presentations, reports, and documents for the executive team, Board of Directors and operational reviews
  • Demonstrate flexibility, resilience and a great attitude while dealing with a variety of stakeholders, partners, and customers
  • Act as first line of contact for many external inquiries and customers
  • Assist with day to day administrative duties including correspondence, expense reporting, scheduling, travel arrangements, proposal and presentation preparation, meeting arrangements, events planning, technical reporting, budget coordination, and focal reviews
  • Coordinate and mentor other Administrative Assistants in a collaborative fashion, providing and receiving support to each other as needed



Preferred Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years supporting C-suite executive(s)
  • Minimum B.S. degree with 10 years of experience supporting senior executives and leaders or Associate’s degree with 12 years of experience supporting senior executives and leaders
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other related programs
  • Extensive experience scheduling, setting up and administering global meeting – facilities, technologies (WebEx, Live Meeting, etc.), telephony, etc.
  • Excellent overall communication, time management, and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle many duties with time sensitive deadlines and able to prioritize critical tasks; self-motivated, with great attention to detail and discretion; and an ability to create technical presentations and develop and maintain databases of contacts and initiatives
  • Experience working with global organization
  • Works well independently, exercises sound judgement; works with limited guidance from the CEO and able to manage work responsibilities
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle, iProcurement and other electronic billing systems
  • Prior experience working within a global organization, with an understanding of the requirements of operating on a global scale with a diverse and dispersed workforce
  • Prior experience interacting with board of directors, with professional demeanor, and managing meeting materials/logistics

 


Minimum Requirements

B.S. degree and 4-6 years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
