Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

SIOP Planning

  • Performs Supply-Demand alignment to develop and publish 26 week rolling Optimized Delivery Plan
  • Collaborates with Sales Ops and Demand Planning to optimize Sunpower revenue and maintain inventory level target
  • Engagement with Sunpower Executive Management team  on supply allocation and demand prioritization based on profitability and sustainability

 

Volume Planning

  • Develops Annual/Quarterly/Monthly (AOP/BOQ/EOQ) Volume Plan to support SunPower financial targets
  • Analyzes and reviews New Product Roadmap to be incorporated  into the Volume Plan
  • Analyzes, consolidates and validates Modco Site Capacity
  • Provides Modco site quarterly loading recommendations and day-to-day capacity optimization plan
  • Participates in Modco site ramp up/ramp down planning

     

Factory Planning

  • Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping and landed dates for each Modco site
  • Establishes priorities and sets fulfillment directions for specific customer orders
  • Resolves roadblocks which delay module delivery schedules and optimizes delivery schedules to anticipate unforeseen conditions
  • Analyzes Modco site issues and provides cost-effective and expedient recommendations/solutions

     

     

Complexity:

  • Applies specialized subject matter knowledge to solve moderately complex issues within established guidelines.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of customer requirements and ensures that work is directed toward resolving customer issues.


Impact / Discretion:

  • Poor decisions or failure to deliver results will cause schedule delays that impact areas outside immediate team.


Interaction:

  • Directs and provides expertise within functional area teams and participates in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Engages with customer and third party representatives to ensure mutual understanding of expectations.


Supervision:

  • Operates without day-to-day supervision.
  • Handles routine and unique situations, asking for advice when necessary.


Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience
  • And 0-2 years of Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations experience
  • Knowledge and work experience on Oracle ASCP, Anaplan, E2Open, Qliksense
