Sr. Scrum Master


As the Scrum Master for SunPower’s monitoring teams you’ll work to organize and pull together the efforts of our portal, database, QA and firmware teams to produce best in class monitoring products for the world’s most powerful residential and commercial solar solutions.

Scrum teams at SunPower are diverse and distributed, leveraging top talent from around the world to make our products come to life.  You’ll be working across borders and timezones, with on-site staff and remote to deliver functionality on time.  The product domain is complex and the goals are aggressive.  You’ll contribute to innovative solutions that will help change the way our world is powered and you’ll be a key part of a great, tightly-nit team while doing it.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies
  • Communicate team progress and performance to management
  • Be an advocate and enforcer for agile methodology
  • Support onboarding and training to our development processes
  • Support team in identifying blockers and working through them
  • Help motivate the team, maintain focus and increase productivity
  • Coordinate with other Scrum teams to ensure overall business aligment
  • Participate in quarterly increment planning meetings (travel required)
  • Support triage of field issues, as required
  • Cross-functional collaboration across SunPower development disciplines


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Scrum master experience
  • Experience working with UI/UX application teams
  • Experience working with test driven development
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies
  • Knowledge of git revision control, gitflow, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Self-starter by nature

  • Team leadership experience
  • Software development experience
  • Experience working with firmware teams
  • Experience working with hardware teams
