The New Home Division of SunPower is seeking a Sales Analyst I to provide the field sales team with pricing, proposal and account level support for the North American New Homes business Unit. The Sales Operations Analyst reports to the Sr. Director of Sales and will be responsible for supporting Builder Account Managers and the inside sales team to track, resolve and report on key business processes to improve communication and efficiency between SunPower, our builder partners, and their consultants. The Sales Operations Analyst will also identify gaps in current processes, document process, and process change, and lead cross-functional meetings, including builders and builder consultants to quickly address production issues.


In addition, the Sales Operations Analyst will support Account Managers with community set up to ensure a seamless transition from booking to design, sales, and installation. The inside sales analyst will be the New Homes point of contact for ensuring Title 24 compliance, and will build relationships with key external partners. Additional activities to support business planning and forecasting, such as proposal building, pipeline reporting, metrics tracking, trends, pricing analysis, and other analytics will round out the areas of responsibility. The position will involve close interactions internally and with key external partners.


Daily correspondences with SunPower builder partners, architects, and Title 24 consultants are the primary external partners the Sales Operations Analyst will work with on a daily basis. Internally, the Sales Operations Analyst will work with multiple departments, primarily within the departments supporting New Homes, including Sales, field operations, design, interconnection, and customer service.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage Title 24 discrepancies following the current process. Update process as requirements change.
  • Monitor, track and prioritize reports to be within agreed to service levels
  • Develop and report on metrics; regular updates to manager and supporting teams on activities, results, and challenges
  • Develop strong relationships with outside consultants and builder partners as a single point of contact for areas of responsibility, primarily Title 24 reporting
  • Maintain and update project-level information within CRM to ensure operational workflows are not disrupted or delayed
  • Recommend and drive process improvement within IT systems, including data management, reports, and dashboards
  • Support cross-functional operations team with project setup and project level discrepancies
  • Work with Sales Managers to manage the sales pipeline and forecast (
  • Work with Sales Managers to consistently get new opportunities set up in internal CRM (SalesForce)
  • Work with Sales Managers to create compelling proposals for sales opportunities
  • Interact and communicate with stakeholders at all levels across multiple departments
  • Other duties as required to support team objectives


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Knowledge in energy and construction fields
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills—advanced Excel usage
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Preference for working collaboratively in a team setting
  • Growth mindset – you can learn new topics, tools, and processes quickly
  • Ability to combine a creative, strategic approach with attention-to-detail
  • Ability to be responsive and manage priorities during multiple concurrent projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. engineering, mathematics, business/finance, economics, etc.)
  • Experience in the energy and/or finance industries
  • Knowledge of construction practices
