Project Manager

SunPower is searching for a Project Manager of operational initiatives and continuous improvement projects related to our residential installation business. This position is responsible for ensuring the continued development and application of SunPower’s functional processes and programs. This role is foundational to delivering SunPower’s promise of leading quality and customer experience, while maximizing opportunities for scalability and efficiency.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage cross functional business improvement projects related to process and systems
  • Provide functional leadership and support to the field Project Management team
  • Support programs including but not limited to capacity planning, new markets and field standards
  • Assist with Process Document management – creation and maintenance
  • Data analytics projects to support robust feedback loops and continuous improvement within the Field Operations organization
  • Oversee implementation of Field Communication standards
  • Administrate monthly incentive programs
  • Miscellaneous digital account administration

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related experience
  • OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
  • Highly competent with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project) and mobile technology

 

Preferred Qualities and Experience:

  • More advanced data analytics or developer skills a plus (Qlik Sense)
  • Experience with or passion for renewable energy
  • Energetic, forward-thinking, creative
  • “Hands-on, roll your sleeves up” work ethic
