Job Summary:

The Corporate Development Associate supports the Corporate Development team with a variety of modeling, partnership, new business, & corporate development activities.


Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate white space business, product, and partnership opportunities in adjacent markets

  • Build financial models for valuation and business evaluation

  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and pitch materials in connection with business development opportunities

  • Maintain and update deal status

  • Build and maintain geographic and sector-specific business development opportunities

  • Perform structured quantitative and qualitative analysis related to evaluating new opportunities or performing diligence

  • Write clear documents and memos to describe business development opportunities, proposals, and summaries

  • Conduct research on businesses, consumers, partners and competitors to identify market trends/opportunities

  • Support in the project management of new opportunities to enable a clean hand-off for business owners  



  • 3-7+ years of experience in business development, corporate development, business analysis, strategy consulting, investing, or a comparable role

  • Experience in building financial models for valuation and business evaluation

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work confidently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to perform analysis on large data sets and build financial models

  • Ability to understand and work with capital markets transaction documents and SEC filings, including prospectus/offering memoranda, opinions and a variety of other offering documents

  • Ability to dig deep into the data, thinking from first principles, and delivering the best results

  • Ability to work across teams and with external partners to solve hard problems

  • Prior experience in Corporate Strategy or Corporate Development (M&A)


Preferred, but not Required

  • CS, Engineering, Economics, or Finance background

  • Experience in a high growth technology company

  • Experience in Product Management

  • Experience in Python and SQL
