SunPower is looking to hire a highly driven Senior Business Analyst to assist the Field Operations team to improve business efficiency, project cycle times, and customer experience. The senior business analyst’s responsibilities involve developing new business strategies and models, communicating to leadership on how these strategies and models will enhance business efficiency and creating monthly reports on the performance of the business. You should also be able to utilize the monthly reports to identify business areas in need of improvement and work cross-functionally with impacted leaders to define and execute implementation plans.  

 

To be successful as a senior business analyst, you should be able to effectively work with an influence functional organizations that impact project cycle times and customers. Ultimately, a top-performing senior business analyst should be able to identify ways in which to improve customer satisfaction.  

 

Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS degree in any related field

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a business analyst, operational effectiveness, project management or customer experience

  • Proven experience in Business Process Modeling

  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or G Suite equivalent tools

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Salesforce is advantageous

  • The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Effective communication and leadership skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to drive decisions and change management through data analysis, collaboration, and leadership 

  • Willingness and ability to learn new processes quickly and adapt to new requirements 

  • Comfortable balancing competing priorities 

  • A keen eye for continuous improvement opportunities 

  • Can work remotely, but must have ability to travel up to 25%

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Identifying and addressing operational, financial and technological risks within the business

  • Maintaining, testing and improving business and systems operations

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

  • Identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities

  • Identifying innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction

  • Evaluating the performance of project teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are met

  • Communicating ideas and viewpoints to senior management

  • Acting as a liaison between business and IT groups

  • Supervising the design of new products and evaluating how these will perform on the market

  • Creating monthly performance reports 

 

Preferred Qualities and Experience: 

  • Experience with or passion for renewable energy, solar experience is advantageous

  • Prior knowledge of or experience with the residential solar installation industry 

  • Energetic, forward-thinking, creative
