This position will be responsible for increasing residential channel revenue and margin in North America.  We are seeking an individual that can step into a fast-paced team of Area and Regional Sales Managers as well as provide the strategic direction and focus necessary to grow at a faster than market pace, but also possesses strong analytical skills and extraordinary business acumen.  


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Outside Sales Managers
  • Set and track sales and margin targets for the team
  • Provide sales forecasts for existing periods as well as inputs for long-range planning
  • Oversee a variety of training for dealers, delivered by the team
  • Provide key inputs from the field including, but not limited to, market intelligence, product and service feedback, and direct dealer commentary.
  • Develop and refine the strategy to maximize margin opportunities including achieving high attachment rates on non-PV items, maintaining reasonable inventory levels, and leveraging financing solutions to accelerate sales.
  • Effectively launch, as measured by adoption rates, new products including hardware, software, and financial products across all channels

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6+ years of sales management experience
  • Must possess the capability to understand, analyze, and suggest areas for improvement in all aspects of our business with a focus on customer experience.
  • Must quickly form strong cross-functional relationships and have the ability to create influence.
  • Must be intimately involved in the solar product strategy, financial product strategy, marketing direction, and channel trajectory.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or post-bachelor coursework
  • Past experience in managing a sales organization in excess of $150 million.  P&L responsibility for the same size business is highly desired.
  • Robust prior experience working closely with FP&A or similar group
  • Extensive experience with residential solar financial products
  • Ability to see trends in a highly dynamic business environment and develop realistic plans to leverage opportunities in that environment



  • The location of the role is flexible
  • Approximately 50% of travel will be expected
