The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a deep understanding of cloud use cases, architectures, workflows and ecosystems. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to a Solutions Architect. As a trusted customer advocate, you will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use for SunPower customers. You will also need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with leadership within SunPower, our partners, and our customers.

 

Responsibilities:
· Work backwards from customer business objectives and organizational future state
· Accelerate transformational change through the AWS platform and from our field teams
· Guide a cross-functional team in architecting large scale proposals to help customers identify and realize business value outcomes
· Conduct customer briefings, present at customer and marketing events, and other AWS thought-leadership events
· Collaborate with industry and technical teams to expedite customer and partner requirements.
· Provide feedback to improve solution assets, services, processes, and tools
· Document and present insights and recommendations to customer executive
· Present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and metrics


Successful candidates will possess:
· Deep technical skill in computer science, software architecture and cloud computing
· A thorough understanding of cloud-native architectures, containers, container orchestration, K8s, microservices and service-oriented architecture design patterns, DevOps culture and practices, and operational best practices in the cloud
· Customer-facing skills ideally gained within a partner/consulting/solutions organization and have demonstrated the ability to think strategically about business, product, operational, and technical challenges.
· A passion for writing crisp, detailed narratives that layout vision, strategy, and execution; that articulate business imperatives, justifications, risks and mitigation strategies; and that convey operational plans, objectives, goals, milestones, expected outcomes, key performance indicators and metrics.
