EMEA International Transportation Clerk

 

Family Description:

 

 

Organizes and handles a variety of logistics issues in an international environment. Responsible for inbound and outbound international shipments, focusing on sea freight mainly. Evaluates customer support and field service commitments to ensure customer requirements are met. Serves as liaison between sales and operations teams to ensure delivery promises are met in a very dynamic environment. Assists in developing logistics plans and procedures.

 


Knowledge and Technical Skills:

  • Get quotes, schedules for sea-freight transport and communicate to relevant party (PSR or Sales or other)
  • Coordinate freight forwarder/transport and warehouse to arrrange deliveries to customers
  • Manage all documentation for custom processes
  • Ensure PO coordination, invoice approval (by email to accounts payable team and via accu image) and payment issue resolution
  • Support letter of credit processes for oversea sales
  • Assist APAC region with Letter of Credit documents
  • Assist upstream Logisitcs (instructions for import, PO and payment issue with transporter)
  • Assist marketing, O&M, RMA with arrranging and coordinating shipments (including PO, payment, documentation…)
  • Documents preparation (COO, legalization) and coordination with PSR (invoice, PL) and freight forwarders (BL). Linked with warehouse for packaging info and other
  • Support factories for shipment of PV for testing and calibration (France - Mexico/US) - arrange and coordinate all delivery (incl. PO, invoice approval)
  • Software use: Infodis booking creation and  follow up. Trax spot quote filing for all Greater Europe shipments

  • Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree and 2+ years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience.
  • Fluent English required
