The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing SunPower’s presence in The Netherlands especially in the light commercial segment (installations larger than 100kW). The Regional Sales Manager uses his/her existing network of decision takers in the industry to detect projects, partners and opportunities.

This role would suit a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment. A solid capability in forming both new relationships and developing existing ones will be required.

To succeed in this role you will possess a combination of leadership abilities with detail-oriented execution skills and business savvy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the light commercial PV market for SunPower in The Netherlands (60% of job time
  • Hunt for approved SDE+ projects, develop partnerships with social and new housing cooperations and large energy consumers to sell Sunpower modules.
  • Develop, motivate and improve existing partners and develop strategic partnerships (40% of job time)
  • Develop partnerships with EPC (Engineering, procurement, and construction management) contractors to be able to offer conjointly an turn-key solution to end-customers.

Related Experience & Educational Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years’ experience in a closely related industry i.e. high-end, capex intensive products and solutions within the (green) energy and building environment
  • Strong knowledge of capital intensive project sales and financial products (lease- and rent solutions)
  • Excellent organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Hunter profile : proven ability to drive aggressive sales growth and meet targets
  • Living in The Netherlands, by preference within the triangle Rotterdam / Amsterdam / Utrecht
  • Native Dutch speaker, fluency in English is required.
