Job Summary & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Project Development Analyst who will be part of SunPower’s East & National Accounts sales team. In this role, you will work with experienced analysts, developers, and the rest of the commercial team towards our bookings and deployment goals. In this effort, you will interact regularly with SunPower's Project Finance, Business Development, and EPCOM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operation, and Maintenance) teams to develop compelling customer value propositions for early-stage and awarded deals alike.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Primarily -

  • Develop the customer offer for solar+storage systems for U.S. public and Fortune 500 accounts
  • Support new commercial opportunities to determine optimal product design and production
  • Pricing and financial modeling for opportunities at all stages
  • Continued value engineering on the opportunity as it matures
  • Communication with critical internal teams
  • Research available incentives to maximize positive impact to project bottom lines
  • Time management and prioritization between active opportunities
  • Special projects to improve our processes, value, and breadth like:
    • Creative deal structuring, new financing options
    • Policy support on new markets
    • Improve processes and templates integral to the Commercial team’s success
    • Involvement in contract and execution-side for post-award deals

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic track record


 Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of solar energy
