SUMMARY OF ROLE

SunPower is seeking for a Logistics person with proven experience in Transportation, Warehouse, and 3PL management. Responsible for Logistics Transportation support across all North America regions. Drives efficiency and manage Key Results. Ability to work cross functionally to address warehouse-related issues.  Collects data to identify root cause of problems in cases where SLA’s are not met. Measures performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls. Delivers presentations as needed including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Knowledge and Technical Skills:

  • Applies intermediate subject matter knowledge, including principles, theories and concepts, to solve a variety of common business issues.
  •  
  • Refers particularly complex issues to higher levels for resolution
  • Logs all issues in the tracker, and monitors progress and resolution
  • Delivers presentation during meetings with 3PLs, providing information on pressing logistics issues and support needed from the 3PL’s end
  • Responsible for managing and driving warehouse performance in terms of on time delivery for outbound deliveries
  • Monitoring of outbound shipments
  • Coordinates with internal teams all exceptions or issues (warehouse owner, PSR, RMA, Order Fulfillment Team and RMA) to support all business units
  • Other logistics-related duties as assigned
  • Freight claims issuance and monitoring

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements:

- Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree Engineering or Supply Chain or Business Management

 

- Experience :

  • 5 years of working experience in the related field specializing in Logistics or Supply Chain or equivalent

 

- Skills/ Competencies:

  • Assertive personality
  • Good command of American English proficiency, written and verbal
  • Above average IQ
  • Ability to strictly follow processes and grasp technical terminologies
  • Customer satisfaction focus
  • Attention to details
  • High analytical and negotiation skills

 

- IT Tools :

  • Intermediate to advanced command of Excel
  • Internet savvy

 

- Language/s:
