As we look to the future, we are seeking a world-class Senior PEE Engineer based at Fab 4, Philippines and reporting to the Engineering Department Manager.  SunPower is seeking a Senior Process and Equipment Engineer to empower employees by being quality-conscious with a zero-defect mentality through sufficient services and resources. The Senior PEE Engineer reports to the Engineering Department Manager.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
  • Develops new tester software and hardware.
  • Performs component level debugging on hardware.
  • Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.
  • Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
  • Establishes and implements process controls and specifications.
  • Establishes material quality controls on all process related materials.
  • Supports manufacturing goals and objectives.
  • Supports for Contract Manufacturer (CM) needs.
  • Manages failure analysis of 3rd party modules
  • Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time by superior.




Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree graduate preferably Engineering or BS Physics
  • Minimum of 3 year Test Process and Equipment Engineering experience.
  • Knowledge in assembly test programming (C, C++ and Visual Basic)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

Preferred requirements

  • MS or PhD graduate preferably Engineering / Physics
