SUMMARY OF ROLE

 

SunPower is seeking a Reporting & Reconciliation Senior Analyst with strong data analytics background to support the company’s overall operations' reporting.  The Reporting & Reconciliation Senior Analyst reports to the Reporting & Reconciliation Manager, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining Regular Operations Reporting, Financier Reporting, Data Stewardship and Automation.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

 

  • Responsible for operating reports, system reporting and monitoring, data modeling, and financial analysis for Financial Services Operations
  • Provides intensive ad hoc operations/process analytics requirements
  • Maintain and develop various data models, reports and standard templates and ensure quality, accuracy, effectiveness and focused analytic review
  • Completion of day-to-day and special engagement projects that require data mining, analysis, and/or report/dashboard development (or other means / forms of presentation)
  • Perform data analysis to identify relevant trends and/or data quality issues and execute follow up analysis and formulate recommendations as needed
  • Interfaces and collaborates with FSO Teams, Operational Counterparts and Partners for benchmarking
  • Prepares and dissects analytical requirements in varying frequencies, dimension and audience
  • Applies qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations including graphical representation of trends and performance
  • Performs continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supports and or leads delivery of long-term/complex projects
  • Backs-up and coaches any of the team members
  • Supports team members whenever necessary

 

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Minimum requirements

  • A degree in IT, Mathematics/Statistics, Accountancy/Finance, Business Management/Administration, Engineering or related field is preferred
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Analytics and Business Intelligence tools and Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite; Advanced Excel skill is required, experience with Access a plus
  • Preferably has a background in the Financial Services Industry
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; able to effectively communicate with people from all levels and multi-cultures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with excellent results in processing of data and formulation of action plans to support data analysis, highly organized and attentive to details even on large data sets
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadline
  • Self-motivated, can work with minimum supervision with a strong desire to learn and accept new challenges, results and process-oriented
  • Willing to work on NA shift
