SUMMARY OF ROLE

 

SunPower is seeking a Senior Analyst with strong Financial and Analytical background to support the company’s Financial Product Pricing scope of work. The Senior Analyst will report to the Payments Team Lead and will be responsible for monitoring proper booking, cash identification and application in relation to the implementation of pricing strategies for the financial products in SunPower’s US Residential portfolio. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop an intimate understanding of the pricing architecture of SunPower’s residential financial products and their associate economics. 
  • Prepare reports to be used to measure and evaluate the profitability of SunPower’s residential financial products and support business forecasting and follow proper cadence for delivery
  • Coordinate closely with Financial Product Pricing SME re rollout of new products and/or pricing changes of existing SunPower financial product offerings.
  • Identify and apply cash from lockboxes, foreign accounts and incoming wires from Treasury department on a daily basis.
  • Identify customer's remittance and posting to the correct account by invoice
  • Create short-pays and deductions on customer's accounts as directed by customer's remittance advice
  • Balance cash postings to cash receipts and prepare daily cash receipt report.
  • Assist in creating write-offs and offsets related to unapplied cash.
  • Maintain cash receipts record and files for any required research / audit and within Corporate policies.
  • Other duties as required to support team objectives.

 

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Minimum requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • A degree in Accounting, Financial Management or related courses
  • Strong problem-solving
  • Ability to process data and formulate plan of action to support data analysis, highly organized and attentive to details
  • Delivers quality work on time, proactively addressing and resolving emerging challenges.
  • Proactively seeks to understand technical content and new or unfamiliar topics
  • Works independently, seeking advice from management and more senior team members when complex situations are encountered.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; able to effectively communicate with people from all levels and multi-cultures
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functional business organizations, service-oriented and can effectively manage client requests
  • Must be able to distill critical problems and recommendations for business stakeholders to diligently test all use cases for software changes
  • Core work schedule is NA shift, with shifting hours depending on the projects and issues being addressed

 

OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION

 

  • Willing to work in Sta. Rosa, Laguna
  • Willing to travel to the US as needed
  • Willing to be flexible in work shift
