SunPower is seeking for a Subject Matter Expert – Originations.   The SME will be involved in the identification of efficiency opportunities, requirements documentation, development, user acceptance testing and deployment of applications and/or process improvements in Originations Team.   The SME will provide insights and analytics to optimize operations, reduce costs and generate revenue.  The SME will also maintain Originations tools and applications and will report directly to the Originations Manager.



  • Promote efficiency and effectiveness thru the mastery of Originations scope and processes
  • Analyze trends in volume and customer feedback and present insights to optimize operations
  • Identify cost-reduction, revenue generation opportunities and manage full project cycle to ensure successful deployment
  • Assess effectivity of the Originations tools and applications considering Users needs and voice of the customers
  • Develop solution thru evaluation of current issue and providing alternative workflows
  • Document requirements, liaise with Developers, perform and facilitate UAT and ensure accurate and timely development and deployment of tool enhancements
  • Create and update document procedures/SOP/workflow
  • Administer in-house Originations tools and coordinate timely resolution of issues
  • Train and present usage of in-house tool to Originations Team, stakeholders and other parties involved as necessary
  • Comply and monitor with agreed SLA and metrics ensuring timeliness, completeness, accuracy and productivity
  • Assist in escalations, issues and other concerns
  • Cross Functional Team Collaboration




Minimum requirements

  • Graduate of 4-year course with at least 3 years of relevant work experience with strong technical and analytical skills
  • At least 2 years of Project Management experience
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to present insights that highlight opportunities and drive action
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and staff
  • Organized approach and able to work under pressure and ability to work in a high-stress, high-volume production support environment
  • Must be able to distill critical problems and recommendations for business stakeholders to diligently test all use cases for application enhancements
  • Strong ability to adapt to change, independent, self-starter attitude with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with little supervision or direction.

  • Attention to detail, able to multi-task and can work gracefully under pressure
  • Works with integrity and accountability
  • Willing to expand knowledge and perform other responsibilities assigned by Manager
  • MS Office proficiency (MS Excel, Power Point, Word); knowledge of SFDC





  • Willing to work in Sta. Rosa, Laguna
  • Willing to travel to US as needed
  • Willing to work on a night shift schedule
  • Willing to work overtime as business requires
