This position reports to the Corporate Accounting Services Manager under the Global Business & Finance Services (GBFS) organization.



  • Facilitates the running of the global company consolidation and elimination during month end close
  • Coordinates monthly close & perform finance shared service accounting activities and processes according to established SLA with SPES and Corporate entities
  • Prepares manual journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned.
  • Performs intercompany accounting entries and monitoring.
  • Collaborates with the business improvement & transformation team to continue to develop world class accounting processes and drive faster monthly/ quarterly close process
  • Provides timely and accurate accounting information to internal customers on ad hoc basis.
  • Supports the implementation of procedures to ensure proper accounting and controls of certain financial information
  • Completes process documentation and ensures SOX 404 compliance for functional area of responsibility. 




Minimum requirements

Educational:  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.


Preferred requirements

  • Experience in Oracle ERP system is a plus.
  • Working experience in accounting/finance and related GL activities is desired.
  • Exposure to SOX environment is desired.
  • Possess a high level of integrity & accountability.
  • Ability to work well on large and small multicultural global cross-functional teams required.
  • Ability to work independently with good analytical skill and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under tight timelines.
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel is required.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills required.
  • Flexible to attain deadlines in a fast pace environment.
