SunPower is seeking for a Human Resources Assistant (Talent Management) reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner. The HR Assistant will be responsible for providing the needed support in implementing the onboarding, learning & development, engagement, employee discipline and employee exit clearance processes


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):


  • Maintains HR records necessary to support HR processes and functional areas including onboarding, learning & development, engagement, employee discipline and employee exit clearance processes.  Generates necessary reports related to these records  
  • Responds to general HR process queries of employees with regards to the Talent Management process, policies and programs
  • Coordinates and performs tasks necessary to run the Onboarding classes
    • Sets up the New Hire Orientation Program (NEOP) for new joiners; New Leader’s Onboarding for new managers/Team Leads
    • Designs and facilitates identified topics in the onboarding classes
    • Performs evaluation of onboarding classes
  • Coordinates and performance tasks necessary to run Employee Engagement activities:
    • Oversees the People Committee/Project Team for engagement programs
    • Collaborates with various groups in running engagement programs (Employee Services, EHS, Facilities, Security, etc…)
    • Co-design and develop engagement programs
  • Assists the HR Representative in implementing the Talent Management processes.  This includes:
    • Coordinates activities related to the processing of employee discipline and employee exit clearance
    • Sets-up training classes. Develops and prepares learning materials
    • Takes on layout and writing assignments for various employee communication requirements
  • Performs other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time that support Company and Team objectives.





Minimum Requirements

  • Graduate of any 4-years bachelor’s degree course
  • 1 to 2 years professional experience performing HR function
  • Good command of written and spoken English.  Demonstrates good platform skills
  • Savvy in using MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrates process orientation, learning agility and customer focus
  • Well-organized, committed to meeting tight deadlines, works effectively with others in getting things done
  • Ability to work under pressure/challenging working environment
  • Open to homebased work with flexibility for onsite activities.  Office site is in Binan, Laguna
  • Open to shifting work schedule covering US and PHL time zones. Core shift: US work hours


Preferred Requirements

  • AB/ BS Psychology or Behavioral Science graduate
  • Professional experience in performing HR function in a BPO industry/Shared Services environment
  • Experience in performing training, employee engagement, industrial relations and HR communications is a plus
  • Affiliation with professional networks and professional certification is an advantage
