DESCRIPTION: SunPower Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer to enhance and maintain the Salesforce platform for the Sales/Marketing workstream. This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Engineering.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Develop solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet end-to-end process requirements in support of the dynamic expansion of the sales platform
  • Partner with the product management team and peers to define the application roadmap to ensure a scalable and effective application infrastructure
  • Conduct peer review code evaluation and recommend appropriate feedback
  • Abide by security and standards best-practices when developing, reviewing, and delivering features
  • Advise managers, peers, or product management on business process improvement and reengineering opportunities
  • Work with product owners to ensure that relevant information systems serve the business needs effectively
  • Project leadership through all phases of the project lifecycle, including Analysis, Requirements Definition, Design, Build & Test, Conversion, Deployment




Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent field, plus 4+ years of relevant development experience coding with Apex, Triggers, REST services, Flows, Lightning, LWC, SLDS on the Salesforce platform
  • Engineering degree preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and years of related experience.
  • Understanding of object-oriented concepts, abstraction/inheritance, as well as experience with object-oriented languages.
  • Experience in designing, developing, testing, implementing, deploying, and maintenance of software applications


Preferred requirements:

  • Experience in using efficient methodologies (e.g. Agile – Extreme programming, test-driven development), version control, and continuous deployment tools (e.g. Git/Jenkins/SourceTree/BitBucket/etc.)
  • Web services: RESTful web services, GraphQL, SOAP, tools such as Postman/SoapUI
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JavaScript, JSON, and/or Ajax
  • Frontend JS Frameworks: Vue/React/Svelte/Angular/Web Components or any similar component-based UI experience nice to have
  • Scripting: Bash, Python is a plus
