Job Description:

The Senior Copywriter position is an experienced role that produces original copy for short and long form marketing, sales and advertising materials, including but not limited to: headlines for web pages, email campaigns, social media, trade shows, advertising, marketing, video concepts/scripts and sales collateral.  The audience is B2C, B2B and B2B2C.


For this position, you will play an important role as the voice of the SunPower brand internally and externally. You will ensure that the brand integrity is upheld on projects large and small, and partner with our Senior Art Director on most projects. We are looking for a rock star writer who is ready to accelerate their career growth at a company with lots of opportunity. This position is within the Creative Studio team. 



•    You will be relied upon to bring highly conceptual and creative copy to the table 
•    You will need to take project briefs, decipher them, and deliver ideas to internal stakeholders 
•    You will need to be confident in a stakeholder facing role 

•    You will need to be comfortable digging into content to research the products and services, and know when to ask questions

•    Work collaboratively with the Creative Studio

•    Create engaging and professional content that reflects our brand
•    Embody the SunPower brand

•    Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to address and resolve complex business issues

•    As a subject matter expert, contributes to the development of new ideas and methods to improve the business


Knowledge and Technical Skills:

•    8+ years of copywriting experience, at least 5 of those at an advertising agency/internal agency setting
•    Technically adept and able to convert complex message into easily understandable copy, within brand guidelines and within short timelines
•    Broad copywriting background, including web, banners, trade shows, marketing collateral, sales tools and more
•    Experience in B2B and B2C copywriting, B2B2C a plus
•    Ability to successfully manage cross-functional projects and possess well developed project management skills as you will be working with more than one brief at a time
•    Self-motivated, proactive and collaborative, and naturally curious
•    Ability to confidently and creatively demonstrate your ability working with both digital and print based projects and have a solid track record of delivering big concepts and ideas with an

     outstanding portfolio to prove it.
•    Must be team-oriented and collaborative with the ability to problem-solve proactively and deal with multiple priorities
•    Ability to remain steady and focused in a fast-paced environment
