Summary of Role:

Sunpower is seeking a critical thinker to support the Financial Services Operation to implement and execute existing and new operational processes to improve customer experience. This individual will develop, document and implement process changes for improved efficiency, effectiveness and/or risk reduction within the organization. The individual will monitor processes and operational performance throughout the customer lifecycle to improve customer experience. Driving standardization of process and the creation of documentation is a major component of the role. Delivers presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, and improvement. Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead Risk Management initiatives with cross-functional teams for efficient execution and operational implementation
  • Review and identify gaps in current processes, makes updates where applicable and create business processes where they don’t exist
  • Perform analysis and research to better understand portfolio dynamics, and then recommend and implement processes to optimize operations.
  • Effectively communicate trends and insights to leadership through monthly performance summaries and regular business reviews.
  • Passion to drive and improve customer experience and overall business performance
  • Accountable for achieving key objectives, ensuring effective risk process management for the organization
  • Responsible for identifying, measuring, and managing solutions that help optimize operations.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or related area of study
  • 1-2 years of experience in process excellence
  • Experience in operational process mapping and project coordination
  • Highly proficient at Excel, and other reporting or analytical tools for data analysis
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation-based communications skills.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, as well as attentiveness to details and a commitment to follow up


Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to be organized, strategically focused, detail-oriented, proactive and work with ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment
  • Quantitative and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand new analytical concepts
  • Analytical Background with experience making data-driven decisions
  • Able to effectively manage several tasks in a face-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Experience working in consumer finance, banking, or collections
