SunPower is seeking for a Portfolio Operations Analyst, this position will be responsible for Identifying analyzing and resolving issues pertaining to subledger activities and reconciliation by providing reliable information necessary to manage financial services operations. This role need to ensure that financial and operating models and reports accurately represent business positions, build and edit data models to solution desired financial outcome with the use of financial calculations and statistical computations. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of portfolio performance, rates of return, depreciations, revenue recognition, customer deals, trended future requirements, operating forecasts and impact of incentives.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):


  • Research, address and resolve common and complex Sub Ledger Customer Contract Management Life Cycle and Payment Reconciliation issues by proposing guidelines and processes where precedence doesn’t exist
  • Identification and analyzing exceptions, ensure necessary, corrective action is assigned and executed by responsible parties and prioritized for resolution
  • Monitor changes in business processes to ensure Sub Ledger Activities, Reconciliations Templates and any associated applications are updated as policy and GAAP Standards
  • Proactively engages with functional experts, data sources, and end users to improve overall service delivery.
  • Develop, update and analyze financial models and ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel techniques
  • Maintaining and updating internal controls, enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles to maintain portfolio integrity
  • Analyze current and past trends in both financial and non-financial key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue and expenses, highlighting trends and causes of variances





  • Bachelor of Accounting, Finance, or Business degree, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills as well as, time management and organization skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications specifically Advance Microsoft Excel skills and Data Modelling Knowledge
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of Finance and Accounting
  • Must demonstrate a solid understanding of General Accounting procedures as well as audit and controls
  • Practical knowledge in problem solving through mathematical/statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable
  • Motivated self-starter with a passion for process improvement and leveraging technology to solve complex problems through creative approaches
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy



  • Effective time management with ability to prioritize and organize the daily workloads
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as be a part of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadline
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail
