DESCRIPTION: SunPower Corporation is seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager to lead Sales & Marketing applications like Salesforce for SunPower Technologies business unit. This role will be based out of Austin, TX.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

As a Product Manager, you will do the following -

  • Develop long term strategy and roadmap, and own Salesforce CRM product for international business
  • Work with business stakeholders, understand their needs, pitch ideas and develop product requirements
  • Responsible for the development of, all related customer facing applications and custom-built tools, to enable a world class Sales software suite of tools.
  • Design and architect a solution based on, App-Exchange products, and other custom applications to meet end to end process requirements to support a globalized sales process.
  • Conduct technology / solution evaluation and recommend appropriate solution to support sales CRM business needs.
  • Advise business stakeholders and product management on business process improvement and reengineering opportunities.
  • Build stakeholder relationship: establish productive and reciprocal relations, manage stakeholders.
  • Project leadership through all phases of the project lifecycle, including: Analysis, Requirements Definition, Design, Build & Test, Conversion, Deployment and Operations
  • Platform Architecture leadership to support the overall Digital Software vision and objectives



Minimum requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in Salesforce and other Sales & Marketing applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Information Technology. MBA is highly desirable.

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience in leading at least two successful large salesforce projects to completion
  • Proven leadership and influencing abilities from core team up through executive levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communications, and facilitation experience across the full lifecycle of complex products.
  • Proven ability to hire, train and motivate a team.
  • Deep expertise and successful working experience with IT Service Providers covering all phases of the systems development lifecycle. Experience in contract negotiations and documents review.
  • Extensive knowledge of and platform.
  • Knowledge and experience developing custom software tools
  • Experience with systems integrated with back office/ERP systems.
  • Experience with complex real time and batch integration architecture.
  • Experience working in a global environment with offshore/outsourced resources across multiple time-zones.
  • Process Knowledge in marketing, sales and service management.
  • Business networking and partnering, influence stakeholders and 3rd parties
  • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication / presentation abilities, including facilitation, negotiation, presentation and demonstration.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good people management skills, including recruiting, mentoring, and career development.
  • Deep expertise and successful working experience with software providers covering all phases of the systems development lifecycle
  • Hands on experience with all aspects of the project lifecycle, including detailed deliverable development as well as team management at all levels.
  • Strong analytical capabilities (market, financial, operations)
