We are looking for an experienced and talented Senior Revenue Accountant to join our team.  This position is responsible for assisting in contracts review, research applicable accounting guidance as well as other general ledger accounting functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the business teams in understanding new deals as they are proposed
  • Review contracts and complete accounting summary for each contract
  • Research accounting literature for compliance with revenue recognition accounting standards
  • Review revenue related journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Record journal entries for complex revenue transactions
  • Assist with the company’s monthly and quarterly financial close
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 key controls in the order to cash cycle
  • Provide accounting support as needed for various department and projects group management
  • Provide analysis of revenue results on a monthly basis
  • Present findings to managers and controllers on a real time basis
  • Meet with business partners and discuss revenue recognition requirements and associated guidance
  • Maintain US commercial accounting policies

Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Candidate must possess sound working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills required
  • Team player
  • Ability to work well on large & small cross-functional teams. Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong presentation skills

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience with at least 1 year of public accounting experience required
  • Proficiency with Excel & Word is required
  • Commercial construction experience a plus
  • Oracle experience a plus

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related experience
  • OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
