Summary of Role:

The Project Manager will have a key role to play in driving the rapid expansion of our business working closely with our Operations, Finance, Digital & Products team.  With the goal of Operational readiness, some key focus of this role will be with expansion requirements into new territories, New Product launches, Solar Incentives. This role requires a blend of collaboration, project management, operational execution, business acumen and an in-depth understanding of all the activities involved in delivering a full solution.  This leader must have strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as the ability to collaborate, influence others and dive deep. Driving standardization of process and the creation of documentation is a major component of the role. The ability to utilize judgment and domain knowledge to anticipate issues before they block launch, as well as the ability to influence and drive change through a matrixed organization without direct authority, is critical to achieving business objectives. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Responsible for driving end to end product development/launch, leading and collaborating with a wide range of functional groups
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Manage team meetings, checklists, gate reviews and approvals
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Synthesize and use relevant data/metrics to drive business and product decisions
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

 

Related Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of project management and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
