Summary of Role:

Project Coordinators perform the critical role of interface between SunPower customers and project management/construction teams to provide support throughout the solar installation project lifecycle. As the “Customer Advocate” and primary point of contact for our customers, it is your job to make sure our customers have an experience they love post-sale. Project Coordinators are responsible for communicating with customers as well as assisting with managing activities across multiple departments to drive projects to completion.

 

Your Daily Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single point of contact for customers during the installation lifecycle. Take responsibility to make sure projects run smoothly
  • Manage customer expectations of project deliverables and timelines
  • Proactively communicate with customers- keeping them informed of progress
  • Drive action and execution to ensure that project milestones are completed in a timely manner
  • Manage conflict and customer dissatisfaction issues by working proactively to resolve them in a timely manner

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or two plus years of customer service experience
  • Friendly telephone voice and demeanor
  • Ability to remain organized while managing multiple projects
  • Detail orientated and a good communicator (both verbal and written communication)

  

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Able to work upright and stationary and/or standing for working hours
  • Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people
  • Able to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency
  • Day to day work is completed at a computer M-F, first shift hours
  • Ambient noise level is usually quiet, consisting of normal conversations, business machines, telephones, but occasionally may be above average for portions of the business day

Training Details:

Throughout the training, incoming Project Coordinators will be exposed to business groups around SunPower, gain knowledge about the solar industry, and receive in-depth hands-on training in project management. Training is critical to your success, so scheduled absences are not permitted during this time

  • Comprehensive 4-week training program
  • Combination of classroom training along with support role training
  • Training will take place in person in the office near Parmer Lane and HWY 183 in Austin, TX
  • You will receive your scheduled shift 2 weeks prior to graduating from training

 

Location: Austin, Texas

  • Applicants must reside or be willing to relocate to Austin.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
  • The full-time role is a hybrid between WFH (work from home) and time in the physical office.
