SunPower is seeking an Operations Senior Associate to join the Financial Services team. This role will manage Residential Lease, Loan and Cash portfolio servicing.  The Operations Senior Associate will also manage new financial product services implementation including review of regulatory compliance.  A major component of this role is providing performance oversight to the Loan sub-servicer.  This position will lead the team which supports our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture.

 

We are looking for a renewable enthusiast, who is a self-starter and likes to solve complex problems with great interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface and maintain relationships at all levels of an internal and external organization.  This role is cross-functional and requires a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and flexible individual who can iterate and operate in a fluid business context. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•     Lead Consumer Finance Operations organization for Solar Loan Servicing

•     Manage sub-ledger for contract management activities and payment application,

•     Regulatory Compliance Subject matter expert and gain proficiency in Financial services

•     Maintain Operations policies and process maps ensuring documentation is up to date.

•     Manage new financial product services implementation roll-out and ensure operational constraints are considered.

•     Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary, incorporate improvement as part of financial services onboarding.

•     Manage relationship with third party Loan sub-servicer

•     Establish Performance oversight mechanism and perform regular monitoring to discuss issues and escalations with Loan sub servicer

•     Analyze current and past trends in both financial and non-financial key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue and expenses, highlighting trends and causes of variances

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Accounting, Finance, or Business degree, or equivalent experience
  • 4 to 6 Years of Experience with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • In-depth knowledge on Consumer Credit and Servicing Regulatory Compliance
  • Ability to perform regulatory analysis and provide actionable intelligence
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Financial Operation
  • Experience in creating reports and templates is a plus excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills as well as, time management and organization skills
  • Strong computer proficiency, which includes knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on Project Management experience
