The Instructional Designer for the US channel businesses identifies opportunities to improve performance through training and develops training courseware and content in support of our technical, sales, and operational training programs. This role will ensure our trainers, sales managers, and other internal parties have relevant training content and programs to help our customers succeed in the field. You’ll manage multiple training projects simultaneously in support of our US business.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Apply solid instructional design skills and effective learning principals to design and develop training programs that train customers on operational processes, sales, and financial programs.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs analysis including researching, benchmarking, and interviewing of subject matter experts.
  • Manage course development projects from inception to delivery for ILT classroom, OJT, live online, and self-paced e-learning content.
  • Develop engaging content, graphics, and media for training materials such as bulletins, job aids, and reference tools.
  • Create modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course.
  • Create exercises and activities that enhance learning processes.
  • Collaborate with various business groups to implement training and communication strategies.
  • Monitor changes in corporate procedures and policies and update appropriate training materials respectively.
  • Assure successful product delivery under established schedules, working under limited supervision through effective project management.



  • Bachelors Degree
  • Accomplished user of Microsoft Office Software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint



  • 5+ years of experience in instructor-led, web-based and job aid design and development
  • Knowledge of principles of adult learning and instructional design models
  • Experience with film/video production, including storyboarding, set management, directing, and/or editing.
  • Experience with a learning management system such as Cornerstone and Success Factors
  • Experience developing content for virtual instructor-led training (e.g., Zoom, Webex)
  • Accomplished user of eLearning authoring tools including, Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate
  • Working application of ADDiE model in instructional design
