Summary of Role:

As a Business Data Analyst, you will join a rapidly growing residential solar installation Operations team that will rely on the tools you create to help drive daily decisions for the organization.  You will help architect the reporting tools needed to focus the teams on revenue, cycle times, execution and quality.  Through collaboration with the Operations team members to create data sets that translate business requirements into operational excellence will result in superior experiences for our customers.  You will use your analytical capabilities to create Operations dashboards to review, measure and manage the business.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Utilize SalesForce data to create Qlik Sense reporting, Dashboard, and various data sets for the Operations team.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and queries as necessary
  • Provide analytical support for initiatives
  • Develop and maintain effective communication tools to report business performance and drive business decisions
  • Work with stakeholders on key areas of need and provide analytic support needed to help maximize their efficiency


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance or Operations.
  • Three years of experience in consulting, business operations or data analytics.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience managing and utilizing large data sets to drive performance and process improvement
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex data into simple, actionable recommendations to the leadership level.
  • Drive decisions and change management through data analysis, collaboration, and leadership.
  • Experience using a CRM and/or project management software

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S. / B.A. degree and minimum 4+ years related experience and 6+ years of experience as an individual contributor, or equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
  • Technical knowledge of solar system installation

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Able to work upright and stationary and/or standing for working hours
  • Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable method
  • Able to position and move objects up to 10 pounds
  • Able to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency
  • The position requires travel with the potential of overnight stays between assigned facilities and various locations within the community. Less than or equal to 10% travel.
  • Day to day work is completed in the office at personal computer M-F, first shift hours
  • Ambient noise level is usually quiet, consisting of normal conversations, business machines, telephones, but occasionally may be above average for portions of the business day
