Summary of Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Asset Management Services Accounting team; specifically, someone who can take on routine tasks, but also enjoys new challenges, can thrive in a dynamic environment and is proficient at multi-tasking. This role has responsibilities such as routine close, preparing consolidated financial statements, accounting for non-routine accounting transactions, and external audit coordination.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide real-time accounting, reporting and analysis – including maintaining and improving accounting and reporting systems, managing relationships, and overseeing bookkeeping performed by the Global Business & Financial Services (“GBFS”) team in the Philippines. Perform month-end close, accounting processes and procedures related to all aspects of the business and in line with external reporting guidelines. Review journal entries and account reconciliations monthly.  Acting as a primary point of contact for annual external audits.  Drive the completion of nonrecurring projects related to strategic business initiatives such as compliance, general ledger enhancement, or efficiency-building, etc.


Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of demonstrated finance and accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is a must
  • Previous experience with financial statement consolidation and preparation
  • Strong (written and oral) communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superb attention to detail and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Comfort with initiating and responding to change; demonstrated ability to identify, develop and implement process/system improvements
  • Team-oriented and willing to challenge the status quo


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Big 4 or other external audit experience
  • Familiarity MS Dynamics
  • Relevant industry or lease accounting experience
