Job Description:

Provides a variety of general corporate and transactional legal services to multiple in-house clients, including supply chain and procurement, research and development, and the finance organization, with primary responsibility for legal support of the Maxeon transition, supply, and product collaboration relationships. Responsibilities include acting as lead counsel for the supply chain and procurement organization, supervising the patent management team, and advising on various finance transactions. Collaborates across the legal team with respect to supply and IP-related matters, as well as Maxeon transition coordination and ongoing relationships and finance transactions. Will advise internal clients a wide range of issues related to the key Maxeon spin-off agreements and ongoing relationship, as well as supply and procurement, finance transactions, and IP-related matters, with the assistance of outside counsel as necessary in specialized areas. Must be able to dig into complex legal issues and take ownership of drafting and negotiating agreements.


Demonstrates experience in contract law, drafting and negotiating agreements, securities law and financial transactions, anti-trust and other compliance considerations, and management of outside counsel on various matters, with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple competing priorities. Requires a law degree and at least 7-10 years of related experience, including experience in a mix of top-tier law firms and in house, or in a business role.

    Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and 7-10 years of related experience
  • Experience in a mix of top-tier law firms and in house, or in a business role
