SunPower is searching for a versatile SEO Web Manager. This role is responsible for the SEO strategy, content writing, and creating, updating and optimizing webpages in Drupal that will lead to organic growth and lead conversions on As the SEO Web Manager, you will be responsible for working with the Creative Studio and Lead Generation teams, as well as key stakeholders to identify, recommend and update SEO content using best practices for The role will also interface regularly with our web designer and developers to provide requirements for new website features in support of those recommendations. This is a hands-on role, and the ideal candidate has strong experience implementing and managing an overall SEO strategy. Duties include web analytics, content strategy planning and development, link building and keyword strategy and implementation. 

To be successful, you must possess excellent relationship building skills to develop a solid partnership with the marketing and digital teams. You must also have a proven track record of staying cool under pressure, possess outstanding process skills, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, and can think strategically and creatively.  




  • Develop and implement SEO strategy that reflects the business needs and drives strong direct response traffic increase 

  • Keep websites relevant with the latest SEO digital marketing trends and best practices 

  • Maintain a clearly defined SEO roadmap, defined SEO KPIs, content strategy, and processes to drive content SEO 

  • Identify and fix technical SEO issues rapidly, including architecture, crawlability and indexability, broken links, etc. 

  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery and optimization that outperforms the competition 

  • Develop and implement a scalable link building strategy 

  • Reduce errors on Google Search Console and all sites' overall bounce rate 

  • Collaborate with creative and web teams to build asset visuals and interactive assets 

  • Track work daily through Pivotal Tracker. 

  • Provide solutions that accomplish business objectives, provide an excellent user experience and address platform limitations. 

  • Design and build webpages in Drupal for 



  • 4+ years of experience as an SEO Manager or similar role 

  • Proven experience in planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy 

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, keyword research and web analytics tools 

  • Proven experience profitably driving high-volume organic customer acquisition 

  • Experience working with external SEO vendors 

  • In-depth knowledge of research principles and methods 

  • Expertise in A/B and other testing and optimization methods 

  • Proficient in Drupal 7  

  • Proficient in PhotoShop/InDesign and image selection  

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS 

  • Experience with professional analytics tools 

  • Robust analytical skills and ability to work with and analyze a large volume of complex data 

  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with intertwining deadlines while staying focused on the details 

  • Perfectionist-level attention to detail and exceptional quality standards  

  • Proactive, self-motivated with the ability to work independently 

  • Problem solver; identifies a problem and comes to the table with possible solutions 

  • Experience in an agile environment and documenting work in a JIRA/Pivotal system 

  • Extremely self-motivated with a strong work ethic 

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team 

  • The position is based in Austin, TX 

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience
  • Advanced Degree is desirable
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
