Marketing Manager - Affiliate Marketing

SunPower is seeking a sharp, motivated, and organized individual to learn, grow and help manage our affiliate marketing program. We're looking for someone with strong communication skills, and type A personality, working knowledge of online marketing channels. This person will be responsible for helping us reach our lead goals by identifying and acquiring new demand generation channels, managing existing demand generation partnerships, pursuing strategic relationships, and overall business unit optimization from the top of the funnel all the way through the sales cycle.


As a key member of the demand generation business at SunPower this individual will have broad responsibilities to ensure our programs are delivering quality opportunities with improving unit costs and expanding program revenue.


This position will partner with other members of the demand generation business, internal call center, marketing and sales teams and report to the Director of Demand Generation.


What you will be doing:


  • Work as the point of contact for our lead generation partners/affiliates to optimize for growth
  • Develop and execute innovative, multi-channel campaigns to drive MQLs while closely monitoring conversion rates and optimizing campaigns at each stage.
  • Provide campaign analysis and reporting to understand ROI and to generate feedback for continuous improvement in all marketing efforts. Review data-driven results from campaigns and provide optimization strategies.
  • Ensure that campaigns reach the right markets at the right part of the sales funnel at the right time.
  • Present opportunities to executives to get buy-in and secure budgets, as well as report results.
  • Collaborate with sales to build programs that support sales enablement.
  • Ensure high-quality lead delivery and proper follow-up according to established SLAs. Build a consistent feedback loop and continuously improve and optimize lead hand-off processes.
  • Provide overall project management of marketing campaigns/projects. Proactively introduce and manage new, innovative campaigns and programs.
  • Leverage marketing automation and lead management to streamline, automate and measure all marketing tasks and workflows.
  • Lead by example and work collaboratively to achieve cross-team objectives.



Preferred Experience:

  • 4+ years in related experience demand generation, sales operations or other comparable experiences.
  • 2+ years in affiliate marketing specifically with an understanding of existing affiliate networks and opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, execute, and measure demand generation strategies.
  • Proven ability to interact with sales, product management, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision and to manage multiple projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Experience in sales with a consistent track record of successfully selling products/services
  • Familiarity with the residential solar sales cycle and how to employ marketing strategies to drive top of funnel demand generation
  • Strong relationship management and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with and Microsoft Office applications
  • Data-driven and analytical, reporting and refining based on data
  • Experience launching and managing the lifecycle of demand gen campaigns
  • Detail-oriented, results-oriented,
  • Tactical, hands-on experience with lead forecasting, reporting, and analysis
  • Experience managing third-party vendors including agencies and contractors
  • Must be a self-starter who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced growth environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadlines
  • Strategic thinker and hands-on executor
  • Knowledge of API integration a plus
